Which equestrian venue will host Ian Millar, Ingrid Klimke, Jacquie Brooks, and Jessica Phoenix all in the same year? That would be the home to one of Canada’s largest equestrian sports hubs, the Caledon Equestrian Park.

Ever since they radically expanded following the investments made for the 2015 Pan American Games, CEP has been home to a wide range of events. From international horse shows and elite clinicians to grass roots sport, the horse community continues to enjoy the legacy venue on a variety of occasions.

The 2018 Charlotte Dujardin Masterclass at Caledon Equestrian Park was a sellout.

Now famous for hosting the very best clinicians (who can forget the Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin spectacles?!) while keeping attendees comfortable in top-notch style, CEP continues the tradition of their Masterclass series by hosting two-time Olympic gold medallist Ingrid Klimke this October.

Presenting over two days, the German Riding Master will focus on dressage the first day and indoor eventing and cavaletti training methods the second day. Klimke will be working with select riders at different stages so that all riders and attendees can benefit from her insights. Don’t be surprised if some Canadian stars make an appearance!

CEP, which is operated by Equestrian Management Group, will be home to a whopping 18 events in 2019 showcasing Canada’s top show jumping and dressage talents. Among them will be a CSI3* and a CDI3*/CPEDI3*, which will feature the Nations Para-Dressage team athletes who will use the competition as a Pan Am qualifier. All riders appreciate the opportunity to test their skills at the highest level in first-class surroundings without the major expense of travelling abroad.

New this fall, the Caledon Equestrian Park will also feature the Canadian National Young Horse Championships, presented by Lothlorien. An important chance for breeders to showcase their young horses, these open championships will be held during the Canadian Show Jumping Tournament CSI3* and any 5-, 6-, or 7-year-old will be eligible to compete.

The property boasts multiple outdoor rings featuring world-class footing, a catered pavilion with a VIP lounge, and covered outdoor seating so you can soak in the best view of Canada’s great outdoors. Their indoor facilities include two indoor arenas with ample seating, a professional kitchen, and conference rooms.

With top sport, free parking, great food, and ample seating – be sure to put CEP on your schedule!
