The Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping has announced the exciting launch of a limited edition replica trophy made up of LEGO pieces. The coveted trophy, which to date has been won by only one rider – Scott Brash – has been reimagined into an interactive toy, perfect for the entire family, which will give fans an exclusive piece of the action.
Made up of 177 LEGO pieces, the trophy reflects a perfect blend of creativity and craftsmanship. It will initially be available for purchase this December at the highly anticipated CHI Geneva, alongside the magical Christmas Market located at Spruce Meadows. Fans will also be delighted to learn that the trophy will be available at all four Majors in 2025, namely The Dutch Masters, the CHIO Aachen, the CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ Tournament, and the CHI Geneva.
The Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping – the sport’s ultimate challenge and most desired prize – is committed to enhancing the fan experience and engagement, as well as introducing show jumping to new audiences. Alongside this exciting LEGO addition, the travelling Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping Booth provides fans with numerous experiences, including opportunities to get up close to iconic memorabilia. It is also home to a spectacular VR experience that virtually transports fans to both Paris 2024 Olympic team gold medalist Harry Charles’ and multiple Major winner Steve Guerdat’s stables, offering a unique behind-the-scenes tour of their facilities and horses.
Furthermore, last year the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping introduced a retro-style gaming experience, allowing fans to compete over show jumping courses at each of the iconic Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping Majors, from the hallowed turf of the Aachen Soers Arena to the largest indoor arena at CHI Geneva. As a one-of-a-kind game in the equestrian world, ‘Pixel Jumping Major’ is accessible for all ages, both onsite and online, with its easy-to-understand rules and simplistic game controls.
The Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping trophy, upon which the LEGO version was based, was designed over 10 years ago by the London jewellers, Garrard, who were established in 1735. Made of sterling silver with two curved handles, the trophy stands on a silver base and a delicate ribbed spiral stem curves around the middle section moving up towards a tulip shaped vessel. The trophy, desired by the world’s best show jumpers, was designed by the royal jewellery designer, Corinna Pike – her aim was to create a curved form inspired by nature to achieve a superbly harmonious design.
