The International Young Breeders Championships takes place at Landgestut Celle, Germany, July 16-19, 2026. Young breeders from Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta will represent the Canada at this event. The Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association (CWHBA) has a long tradition, beginning in 2003, of participating in these championships. The experience and connections are invaluable and the graduates have brought their knowledge and energy back to the CWHBA in many ways.
Financial support is essential to the continued success of this program. Funding comes in part from the Charmaine Bergman Young Breeders Fund and from a variety of fundraising efforts by the participants themselves and by the sponsoring chapters.
