The FEI Annual Report 2024 is now available for download, providing a comprehensive overview of a landmark year in equestrian sport, highlighting major sporting milestones and key decisions that are shaping the future of the industry.
At the heart of 2024 were the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, set against the iconic backdrop of the Château de Versailles. Widely regarded as the most spectacular equestrian Games to date, Paris 2024 delivered unforgettable sporting moments, record-breaking performances, and unprecedented global engagement. Full stands and soaring viewership across broadcast and digital platforms underscored the success of a far-reaching media strategy, including the celebrated campaign A Bond Like No Other.
The year also saw the launch of the prestigious Longines League of Nations™, a new global team jumping series. The ten best national teams of the world competed in three qualifiers for a place in the Final, held in Barcelona (ESP), with exciting competition and compelling storylines that captured the essence of top-level sport. A full recap, alongside highlights across all six FEI disciplines, is available in the FEI World of Sport section, with a dedicated sub-section on the Paris 2024 Games.
From a governance perspective, 2024 marked a major step forward in the FEI’s commitment to equine welfare with the implementation of the FEI Equine Welfare Strategy Action Plan. Based on the findings of the Equine Ethics and Wellbeing Commission (EEWB), the Action Plan lays out a clear and ambitious path to ensuring a good life for FEI horses. Full details are included in the FEI World of Horse section of the report.
In addition to sporting and welfare developments, the Annual Report features key achievements in commercial growth, education and development, supported by facts, figures and impact stories throughout.
For the 2024 edition, the FEI has chosen a streamlined, cost-effective and eco-friendly PDF format, available to all stakeholders and interested readers via the FEI Library.
