Ride Every Stride has grown into a North American equestrian branding company by helping horse shows, barns, organizations and sponsors present themselves professionally through quality products, thoughtful service and long-term partnerships.
When Linda Davey thinks about Ride Every Stride, she does not start with a catalogue of products. She thinks about the horse shows, barns, organizations, sponsors and clients that have trusted the company year after year, and about the relationships that have allowed the business to grow alongside the industry it serves.
Davey is the founder of Ride Every Stride, a company specializing in custom products, apparel, branding, awards and stable merchandise for clients across North America. Its purpose remains rooted in the same idea: helping equestrian clients bring their own brands to life.
“I saw a need for a company that understood the equestrian industry and could provide both the products and the support clients needed,” Davey said.
Davey came to riding as an adult after a trail ride with her husband sparked a deeper interest in horses. That personal connection eventually led her toward the industry, but the business that followed has been driven by a clear vision for serving others within the sport.
Ride Every Stride began in 2014 as a more traditional tack-based business, but Davey quickly recognized that customers were looking for something more complete. Barn owners, riders and equestrian businesses often had to visit one supplier for clothing, another for embroidery and another for saddle pads or stable accessories. Davey saw an opportunity to bring those services together in a way that was more practical and specific to equestrian life.
As customer requests for customized products increased, Ride Every Stride evolved into a comprehensive equestrian branding company serving horse shows and events, barns and training operations, and corporate clients seeking promotional products.
Its range includes rider apparel, custom blankets and saddle pads, stable curtains and accessories, awards, signage, home décor and branded promotional merchandise. It also offers graphic and logo design, as well as private online stores that allow barns and organizations to offer customized merchandise without managing individual orders themselves.
Although Ride Every Stride offers thousands of possible products, Davey says its success depends less on the size of its catalogue than on understanding what customers will genuinely value. The company’s role is not simply to sell merchandise, but to help clients elevate their brands while making the process as seamless as possible.
“Our goal has always been to help customers bring their vision to life while making the process as seamless as possible,” she said.
Davey regularly attends horse shows, walks the grounds and speaks with riders, trainers and organizers about what they need. The company also works with sponsored riders and a developing ambassador program to test merchandise and provide feedback.
“The equestrian industry is built on relationships. Taking the time to understand our clients, their goals and their challenges allows us to create products that truly represent their brand,” Davey said.
That approach matters in a sport where products are expected to perform in a demanding environment. Clothing must be comfortable and functional through long days at the barn. Blankets, saddle pads and stable equipment must endure dirt, weather and repeated use. Awards should be memorable, but also practical enough that winners will use them.
Ride Every Stride has worked with Angelstone Events for more than a decade, beginning near the company’s earliest days. That partnership is one example of the relationships the company has built throughout the industry, many of which have continued for years as events and organizations have grown and changed.
Today, Ride Every Stride serves events and organizations across North America, with clients in Canada and the United States, including locations such as Saratoga, Aiken, Traverse City and Florida. The company has also begun expanding its ambassador program with riders in both Canada and the US.
Davey approaches these relationships as partnerships rather than individual sales. “Everybody in this industry is super busy,” she said. “Our job, I always say, is to make their life easier.”
That means learning about each event’s audience and brand, providing options at different price points and continually introducing new ideas. It also means understanding the needs of sponsors, whose logos and involvement must be presented in a way that feels professional and lasting.
To meet those needs, Ride Every Stride has steadily expanded its production capabilities. Much of the company’s production, including embroidery, engraving, sublimation and customization, is now completed in-house. The company recently invested in sublimation printing, which allows larger sponsor logos to be incorporated directly onto products, including the award blankets seen at major competitions.
“We take a great deal of pride in the products we create. Having production capabilities in-house allows us to oversee the details, respond quickly to client needs and continuously refine our processes,” Davey said.
Bringing more production in-house gives Ride Every Stride greater control over quality, consistency, customization and delivery. It also allows the company to be more flexible when clients need something adjusted, refreshed or created on a tight timeline.
Ride Every Stride’s growth has also coincided with a broader change in equestrian culture. Barns and training businesses are increasingly thinking of themselves as brands, with coordinated apparel, saddle pads, blankets, stall curtains and signage. A well-presented barn creates a sense of belonging among its clients while also providing valuable visibility at competitions.
“They want to showcase their brand,” Davey said. “Their clients wearing their brand is advertising at the end of the day.”
More than a decade after its founding, Ride Every Stride’s story is one of relationships, trust and a company built around the needs of the equestrian community. Davey has built a business by listening carefully to the people in it, understanding what they need and helping them put their own identity on display.
