Germany’s Kristina Sprehe was unbeatable in the NÜRNBERGER WDM Grand Prix presented by FRB e.V. with her elegant black stallion Desperados FRH. They performed a smooth test with many highlights. The individual bronze and team gold medallist of the WEG in Caen in 2014, recently won the Grand Prix of Dortmund and Hagen, and today they proved they are keeping up their good form. In the WDM Grand Prix they scored 76.52%.

Second placed Jessica von Bredow-Werndl was really happy after her test. She rode her KWPN stallion Unee BB with a lot of power in front of her homecrowd and received 75.74% from the judges.

The USA’s Steffen Peters finished in third with the Westphalian gelding Legolas 92. The USA squad is competing in designated European CDI observation events and WDM Munich is the first competition for the American dressage riders. Steffen showed a good test with highlights in the piaffe, which was very well balanced. Their test was awarded with 73.62%.

NÜRNBERGER Versicherungsgruppe Best of 4 Competition leader Patrik Kittel finished in fourth with his powerful stallion Watermill Scandic HBC. The longterm partners showed a controlled test with great passage and piaffe exercises like always. Unfortunately they had a mistake in the one tempi, which cost them some points.

Ulla Salzgeber and Herzruf’s Erbe finished in fifth with 71.78% in front of the enthousiastic Munich public followed by Holland’s Patrick van der Meer and Uzzo with 71.02%.

Tomorrow 10 combinations will return for the € 12,000 Global Dressage Analytics WDM Grand Prix Special presented by the Fürst Fugger Privatbank at 15:30 hrs.
