With the FEI World Championships Aachen 2026 just around the corner, the FEI has launched ‘Years in the Making. Moments of Glory.’ — a campaign recognising the dedication, passion and unique relationship between athlete and horse at the heart of equestrian sport’s greatest achievements.

It celebrates the journey that takes place long before the spotlight arrives, from the development of trust between horse and athlete to the commitment required to reach the elite world stage.

Complementing this, Aachen 2026’s ‘Welcome Home’ campaign celebrates the spirit, heritage and atmosphere of the iconic host venue. Together, the two campaigns capture the complete story of Aachen 2026: the dedication that shapes champions and the unforgettable moments that will unfold when the world’s best come together.

For FEI Executive Director of Commercial, Marketing and Communications François Vergnol, this shared vision is at the heart of the FEI campaign. “Fans around the world see the incredible moments our athletes create on the biggest stages. But behind every performance is a much bigger story about dedication, setbacks, patience and the countless hours spent building the amazing connection between horse and athlete.

“Years in the Making. Moments of Glory. is about celebrating everything that comes before the moment everyone sees. It recognises the commitment required to reach the highest level of our sport and celebrates the athletes, horses and teams who make these unforgettable moments possible.

“Aachen is the perfect place to share this message. It represents the destination that so many athletes work towards, and its ‘Welcome Home’ message captures the feeling of arriving at the place where years of preparation finally come together.”

The FEI World Championships Aachen 2026 will also represent an important milestone on the journey towards the Olympic and Paralympic Games Los Angeles 2028. Athletes competing in Dressage, Eventing, Jumping and Para Dressage will have the opportunity to secure qualification places for their countries, adding further significance to an already highly anticipated event.

Having hosted some of the most important events in equestrian sport, including six FEI World Championships, nine European Championships and the landmark 2006 edition where all FEI disciplines came together at one venue, Aachen is recognised as one of the true homes of international equestrian sport.

“Few venues in equestrian sport carry the heritage of Aachen,” FEI Executive Director of Sport and Games Áine Power said.

“The knowledge, experience and passion of the Aachen community, combined with its world-class facilities and unique atmosphere, create the perfect environment for the world’s best combinations to compete at the highest level.

“The FEI World Championships Aachen 2026 will put equestrian sport at the centre of the global sporting calendar in August 2026, with six incredible equestrian disciplines on display in one venue over two action packed weeks. The Championships will show the world the very best of our sport.

“For many athletes, competing at the FEI World Championships in Aachen represents a defining career milestone. This is where years of training come together, and where the next chapter of equestrian history will be written.”

Ahead of the Championships, fans around the world can share their own messages of support by tagging @fei_global on Instagram or @fei_horse_world on TikTok and using #MomentsofGlory, alongside their National Federation’s official hashtag where applicable. Together, these messages will form part of the global celebration as athletes and horses prepare to take centre stage in Aachen.

From Dressage, Eventing and Vaulting in week one to Para Dressage, Driving and Jumping in week two, the FEI World Championships Aachen 2026 will showcase the very best of equestrian sport.
