The FEI presents a snapshot of the main movers and shakers is all disciplines for the month of January 2025 in the senior World Rankings.

Jumping: Henrik von Eckermann still in command
No changes in the top four of the rankings, as Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) remains in the lead for yet another month with a total of 3,345 points, followed by Swiss athlete Steve Guerdat (3,124 points), Britain’s Ben Maher (2,967 points) and Kent Farrington (USA) with 2,861 points. Martin Fuchs (SUI) ascends four spots, rounding up the top five on 2,843 points.
For Canada, four women continue to rule the top-100: Tiffany Foster remains top rider in 24th place, while Erynn Ballard sits 27th. Ali Ramsay is 77th, and Amy Millar is 86th. Note that the rankings have a new top female rider, Laura Kraut of the US, who has edged up into 22nd place from 30th.
Longines League of Nations: Ireland starts the new year at the top
Ireland is for one more month the leader of the Longines League of Nations™ Ranking with a tally of 14,579 points. USA (13,541 points) remains second followed by France (12,828 points) in third, Germany (12,547 points) in fourth, and Great Britain (12,156 points) in fifth. Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden and Italy consolidate their spots from sixth to 10th.
Dressage: Werth and Laudrup-Dufour battle for top spot
There are no changes at the top; Germany’s Isabell Werth (2,079 points) remains in first position for the sixth consecutive month, but her most immediate threat, Denmark’s Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour (2,072 points), is only seven points behind. Charlotte Fry (GBR) with 1,968 points and Dinja Van Liere (NED) with 1,927 points are third and fourth respectively, while Carl Hester (GBR) rises to the fifth spot with 1,805 points.
Only one month after getting back to the top spot, Wendy de Fontaine remains at the top of the horse rankings with 2,079 points, closely followed by Mount St John Freestyle (2,072 points), Glamourdale (1,968 points), Hermes N.O.P. (1,927 points) and Fame (1,805 points).
For Canada, Naima Moreira Laliberté (Statesman) continues to move up the rankings from 83rd to 78th, while Camille Carier Bergeron (Finnlanderin) has improved from 93rd to 87th.
Para-Dressage: USA dominates the rankings
USA Team are leading the way in the Para-Dressage Rankings this month, with Roxanne Trunnell (2,162 points), Rebecca Hart (2,106 points) and Fiona Howard (2,089 points) taking the top three individual slots respectively. USA also leads the Team ranking, with 1,376 points, closely followed by Netherlands, on 1,356 points and Germany (1,344 points). Canada is 17th with 1,199 pts.
Canada continues to have three top-100 riders: Roberta Sheffield (31), Austen Burns (32) and Jody Schloss (42).
Eventing: Tom McEwen still solid leader
Great Britain’s dominance continues into 2025, with four athletes in the top 5. Tom McEwen (552 points) remains the leader of the FEI Eventing World Athlete Ranking. Tim Price (NZL) with 536 points is second, ahead of Rosalind Canter (GBR), who’s third with 487 points. World Champion Yasmin Ingham (GBR) retains her fourth place with 396 points, while her compatriot Laura Collett is fifth on 378 points.
Canada continues to have just one rider in the top 100 – Jessica Phoenix, who holds on to 62nd place.
Driving: Exell, Schneiders and Schiltz remain at the top
There are no changes at the top of the FEI Driving World Rankings. In the Four-in-Hand, World Champion Boyd Exell (AUS) continues to maintain his strong leadership with 222 points; Canadian drivers Gerben and Jordan Steenbeek are 54th and 64th, respectively. Germany’s Dennis Schneiders (96 points) holds the top spot earned three months ago in Pairs. Luxemburg’s Marie Schiltz holds the number one spot on 89 points in the Singles category, and Canada’s Kelly Bruder remains 3rd with Carole Precious (41), Catherine Levasseur (60), and Denis Martin (98).
Endurance: Al Kitbi and Bettenfeld maintain number one
No movement at the top of the FEI Endurance Riders World Ranking. Salem Hamad Saeed Malhoof Al Kitbi (UAE) remains number one (1,308 points), followed by France’s Virginie Atger with 1,264 points. Her compatriot Melody Theolissat completes the top three with 1,224 points. In the Trainers’ Ranking, Samuel Bettenfeld (FRA) continues to hold the top spot with 1,381 points.
