Canada is heading into NAYC 2021 with a strong history of success: an impressive 10 medals in both 2017 and 2018 and seven in 2019. The veteran team of Carier-Bergeron, Mancusi and Swackhammer, who have all won medals at previous NAYCs, will be looking to continue the tradition of earning a Young Riders dressage podium for the maple leaf. Meanwhile in show jumping, repeat Children’s medalists Stephenson and Chaccana will be looking to make the leap to a division new for 2021, the Pre-Juniors. The Krawitt brothers, who earned team medals in 2018, will also be seeking a return to the NAYC winner’s circle.

EC would like to thank the JC Anderson Legacy Fund (ANDJ3) at Calgary Foundation and Tipperary for their generous support of Canada’s NextGen athletes at NAYC 2021.
