“Spruce Meadows has been great. The horse is really loving up here,” said Will Simpson. “The atmosphere is great, and I’m so excited to be here for the 50th anniversary. I hadn’t been here in a while, so it’s been great. All the riders that we brought are all very excited and talking about coming back next year.”
The courses for this week’s FEI 5* competitions will be designed by FEI course designer Santiago Varela (ESP). Riders will compete in tomorrow’s qualifier, the Jayman BUILT Cup, looking to secure their spot for a chance in Saturday’s $1,000,000 ATCO Queen Elizabeth II Cup.
