An electrifying new season begins as the official 2026 Longines Global Champions Tour calendar is revealed with 17 stages. The world’s premier show jumping circuit returns with a truly global journey across four continents, uniting elite sport, iconic destinations and unparalleled atmosphere in a landmark year for the Tour.

Launching in Doha from March 4-7, the 2026 season will once again showcase the very best riders and horses on the planet as they battle for individual glory in the Longines Global Champions Tour and team supremacy in the team GCL competition. From the sands of Miami Beach to the elegance of Europe’s great capitals, the Tour builds toward a dramatic season finale before culminating at the prestigious GC Playoffs in Riyadh.

A Bold New Chapter: Egypt Joins the Tour

A standout moment in the 2026 calendar is the debut of Cairo, marking the Longines Global Champions Tour’s exciting expansion into Egypt for the very first time. Taking place from October 22–24, this historic addition represents a major milestone in the Tour’s global growth, bringing world-class show jumping to a brand new location for 2026.

The new event was launched today in Cairo with a high-level press conference attended by senior dignitaries and key stakeholders. The event was honoured by the presence of the Prime Minister of the Egypt, Mostafa Madbouly, who delivered a keynote speech welcoming the Tour and underlining the significance of hosting a world-class international sporting event in Egypt.

The press conference was also attended by other high-ranking government officials, representatives of national institutions like General Mohamed Turk, Vice President of Egyptian Military Academy and Dr. Ismaiel Shaker, President of the Egyptian Equestrian Federation joined the press conference with and leading figures from sport and culture, marking a landmark moment in the introduction of the Longines Global Champions Tour to one of the most iconic destinations in the world.

Jan Tops said in his speech: “I would like to express my sincere thanks to our title partner Longines for their continued trust and support, and to Qatar Museums and ACUD for sharing our vision of sport, culture, and heritage coming together on the world stage.

A Spectacular Season Ahead

The 2026 Tour travels through an extraordinary line-up of world-renowned cities and venues. Expect a unique fusion of exhilarating top sport and resort lifestyle with the return of Miami Beach (April 3–5), the vibrant energy of Mexico City (April 16–19), and the striking skyline of Shanghai (May 1–3), before the Tour sweeps through Europe’s most glamorous summer destinations.

From the historic charm of Madrid (May 15–17) to the French Riviera of Cannes (June 4–6), St. Tropez (June 11–13) and iconic French capital city Paris (June 19–21), the season delivers back-to-back highlights before the high octane jet set style of Monaco (July 2–4).

The summer continues with powerhouse sporting venues including Riesenbeck (July 16–19) and the fan favourite London (August 7–9), before heading to Valkenswaard (September 4–6) and a beautiful stop in Vienna (September 24–27, TBC).

The season then builds toward a thrilling conclusion with Rome (October 9–11), the historic Finals in Rabat (October 30-November 1), and finally the ultimate showdown at the GC Playoffs in Riyadh from November 18–21.

Title Partner and Official Timekeeper Longines will once again play a central role throughout the 2026 season, continuing its longstanding partnership with the Longines Global Champions Tour.
