Week 2 of the Autumn Mediterranean Equestrian Tour at Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova in Valencia, Spain, saw a couple of top placings for Canadian riders on Sunday, Oct. 11. The morning’s 1.40m Bronze Tour Final went to Alexia Trapp of Toronto, ON, riding her own 12-year-old grey Westfalian gelding Coupeggio, who bested a large field of 41 entries with two speedy clear rounds. Then in the afternoon’s feature class, the CSI3* 1.50m Construcciones Hispano Germanas S.A. Grand Prix, Kara Chad and Ciao Bello Nve Z (Comilfo Plus Z x Inshallah de Muze) finished second behind Portugal’s Duarte Seabra and Cabernet Di Fer Z out of 56 horse-and-rider combinations.

“Proud of Ciao!! Double clear and 2nd in the 3* 1.50m Grand Prix,” wrote Chad on Facebook. Watch their winning round here.
