On Friday, October 30, following the press conference for the FEI Dressage World Cup™ at Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International, Sylvie Robert, the president of GL events Equestrian Sport, announced that the Printemps des Sports Équestres 2027 will host the FEI Para-Dressage World Cup™ Final from April 14-18.

This will be a new event for para-dressage, a sport that is constantly growing in popularity in France and internationally. Forty riders from around the world will be taking part in the event at Le Grand Parquet in Fontainebleau, competing across the discipline’s five grades. The classes will take place in the Carrière des Princes, similar to the CDIO 5* FEI Dressage Nations Cup. Prize money will be awarded to the winners and admission to the final will be free of charge.

Robert commented, “We are really pleased to announce this new event, which means so much to me. Since the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, para-dressage events have been an integral part of our programme. Acting as the host to the FEI Para-Dressage World Cup™ Final marks a new milestone in the development of the Printemps des Sports Équestres and reflects one of our core beliefs, namely that top-level sport must be open to everyone. All riders, regardless of their discipline, should be acknowledged for their ability, enjoy the same visibility and have access to the same quality of facilities in order to strive for excellence. As organisers, this is the objective we have set for the Printemps des Sports Équestres: to bring together the world’s top riders, to celebrate high-level performance in every form and to use sport as a tool to bring people together and foster inclusion.”
