Equine Career night at the University of Guelph is a chance for equine enthusiasts of all ages to explore what career opportunities are available in the equine industry. The Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management equine event management class will host a number of exhibitors from the equine community including Sunrise Therapeutic Riding Center, Schleese Saddlery Service, Canna Horse and Hope Haven Therapeutic riding Center. Exhibitors will be happy to answer any questions you may have about their business or pursuing a career in a similar field.

This year Equine Career night will also feature several speakers highlighting different areas of the equine industry. We are happy to welcome Jennifer Anstey from Horse Publications Group, Sidonia McIntyre a certified equine massage therapist and massage instructor and Scott Cieslar from Mad Barn Equine Nutrition. Speakers will provide some background on how they became involved in the industry and how their career path evolved. They will offer advice on pathways to satisfying careers and be happy to answer any questions you may have at the end of their presentations.

There will also be raffle draws throughout the night for great prizes including a Schleese Saddlery hat and gift certificate for a saddle fit evaluation, and a University of Guelph swag bag with a grooming brush, water bottle and a note book.

This event is free and does not require prior registration

Snacks and refreshments will be provided at the event.
