Equestrian Canada (EC) is pleased to announce the four athletes who will represent the maple leaf at the prestigious 2021 World Equestrian Festival at CHIO Aachen, GER, from Sept. 10-19, 2021.

Fresh from travelling to Japan for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the Canadian Dressage Team will reunite to compete once again against world-renowned dressage competitors in a unique, team-based setting.

The athletes for the CDIO 5* Nations Cup will be:

The Canadian Dressage Team will be supported by veterinarian Usha Knabe and Chef d’ Équipe Ashley Holzer.

The red and white will also be represented by individual CDI 4* athlete Ryan Torkkeli, who resides in Königsdorf, GER, and mount Sternenwanderer (Lord Loxley I x Ragazzo). The 15-year-old bay Rhenish Warmblood gelding, owned by Dieter Laugks, recently finished first at the 2021 Grand Prix de Deauville CDI 3*.
