A stellar group of Warmblood horses were presented for videos and photographs at Old Gate Farm, August 22-25, in preparation for the Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association (CWHBA) Fall Classic Breeders’ Sale, to be held online from October 16-19. Each horse, from foals to performance horses, were posed for photographs, measured for height, and videoed for correctness before being taken to the main arena for freemovement videos and, if appropriate, chute jumping. Riding horses returned to the ring later for an opportunity to be shown under saddle and over fences.
Host and sale co-chair Katrina van den Bosch remarked “This is as nice a group of horses as we have ever had and there are some really special ones in each category.”
Forty outstanding Warmblood horses are featured in the catalogue. With very full categories of prospects and two-year-olds, there are some very exciting horses for future performance homes or breeding careers. The young stock is of high calibre this year, featuring some exciting foals and yearlings.
Looking for a show-ring-ready athlete or the next matriarch of your breeding line? Check out the exciting performance horses and broodmares. There really is something for everyone! Bidding runs Oct 16-19. Be sure not to miss this annual event.
