The pair followed up with a second place finish the following day in the Intermediate I (69.649%), before ending the week on another win in the Intermediate I Freestyle with 75.475% on Jan. 29.

“It is a great feeling to have a double-win at AGDF,” said Irwin, who imported Donegal V from the Netherlands as a three-year-old and has been training him up through the competition levels ever since. “This was our first competition of the year and Donegal is feeling in top form. He is feeling very solid in the small tour and shows great talent for the grand prix. I am very excited to bring him to the next level.”
