Just have to share this photo with you, which came attached to a press release announcing that Rio de Janeiro is a partner of the CHIO Aachen. The opening line of the press release is as follows: “It is hardly possible for messengers to be more popular: Nelson and Rodrigo Pessoa and Alvaro “Doda” Affonso de Miranda Neto came to Aachen to present Rio de Janeiro as the partner country of the CHIO Aachen 2012.” I would like to suggest that the most popular messengers are actually the scantily clad Carnival ladies, at least as far as Rodrigo is concerned. Good thing he’s wearing that trench coat.
