Burwash Equine in Alberta hosted a first-of-its-kind event for 60 veterinary and vet tech students from across Canada.

Top Canadians in the $100,000 event were Waylon Roberts and OKE Ruby R (12th) and Colleen Loach riding Vermont (13th).

The British rider won the $200,000 class riding Point Break and also earned the Leading International Rider award.

The Quebec native rode his long-time partner to the win in the $75,000 class over Canadian Meghan Rowlins' track at HITS Ocala.

The €375,000 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Qatar saw rising star Harry Allen (IRL) and Calculatus narrowly edged.

The win came board the mare Finnländerin; third place in the class went to fellow Canuck Denielle Gallagher riding Come Back De Massa.

The all-female show jumping squad of Tiffany Foster, Erynn Ballard, Beth Underhill and Amy Millar took on 10 teams in the $150,000 event.

Great Britain’s Ben Maher was in winning form at Wellington International, taking WEF Challenge Cup 8 with Ginger-Blue.
