The COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic and its impact have developed rapidly. There is a lot of speculation and discussion ongoing and many horse owners and stable owners are concerned.
In order to better understand the current impact of the present situation and to potentially help with the management of the impact on owners and horse welfare, a research effort supported financially by a joint partnership between Science Supplements USA and FLAIR Equine Nasal Strips, in conjunction with universities in the UK and the US, invites you to complete a short survey. The survey is being conducted by Dr David Marlin PhD, Cambridge, UK; Louisa Taylor BVM BVS (Hons) BVMedSci (Hons) MRCVS; Dr Jane Williams PhD, Hartpury University, UK; Dr Shannon Pratt-Phillips PhD, North Carolina State University; and Jenna Kutzner-Mulligan MS, Science Supplements USA.
Take the survey HERE.
This survey should take no more than five minutes and no personal data is collected. The results will be made public as soon as possible and the survey will be run again in one month’s time to help gauge the progression of the situation.
With this information they hope to be able to develop a better understanding of the effects of the current situation, with the aim of being able to produce more targeted advice for horse owners, stable managers/owners and equestrian professionals across multiple countries, both now and in the event a similar situation arises in the future.
