Beautiful, deep black, strong-moving with a charming character and wonderful temperament – this is how the two top dressage price highlights at the 3rd Oldenburg Online Special Edition shined. The online collection impressed with outstanding dam lines, which are carefully cared by pioneering breeding stables and lead to success.
As the price highlight shined the four-year-old Mister Universe (pictured above left) by Morricone I – San Amour I – Fürst Heinrich, bred by Dr. Gisa Löwe from Meyenburg/Brandenburg and exhibited by Damil Dressage from Sprockhövel/North Rhine-Westphalia. For 340,000 Euros, the beauty king from the famous Cileste dam line is moving to new customers in Swizerland. The sire is none other than Oldenburg’s champion stallion Morricone I, who is currently causing a sensation with Lena Waldmann for Gestüt Bonhomme with the second Vechtaer top price in a row. Mother and champion mare Chere Amie is the sister of Rubin De Luxe/Intermediaire I with Ulf-Peter König. Third dam Cileste II is sister of Donner Hit OLD/Grand Prix with Ellen Bodenkamp and the famous Welthit dynasty.
The average price of the sport horse collection was around 35,500 Euros. 28 sport horses sold a total of 1,000,000 Euros. 11 Oldenburg horses will make a career internationally, moving to the USA (2), Belgium (1), Denmark (1), Great Britain (1), Netherlands (1), Panama (1), Poland (1), Sweden (1), Spain (1) and Switzerland (1).
As the top of the foal collection the strong moving beauty queen Imagination (pictured above right) by Imposantos – Fürst Romancier – De Niro, bred and exhibited by Wilfried Fleming from Löningen/Lower Saxony, shined. The filly from the famous Elfenblume dam line changed to one of the world-renowned dressage stables for 133,750 Euros. The dam Elfenwald delivered with Secret Emperor by Secret already a top foal for Vechta. The granddam Elfenfee is the sister of Danönchen OLD by Danone I for Liselott Marie Linsenhoff, also discovered as a foal in Vechta.
Top sport genetics achieved top prices for the foals at the Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International (OS): Christie’s by Chacco-Blue – Lancer III – Acord II – Polydor, bred and exhibited by Jens Pax, Bad Iburg/Lower Saxony. The filly moves to the USA for 28,500 Euros. Dam Lancana already had two horses placed in 1.45 m classes, the licensed Dust Devil by Diarado and Chincana P by C-Indoctro, who was finalist with Jana Wargers as a seven-year-old at the world championship for young jumping horses in Lanaken.
The second top price of the jumping foals was the eyecatcher Lord Weihaiwej by Lord Pezi – Ustinov -Contender – Capitol I, bred and exhibited by Arndt Schwierking from Barver/Lower Saxony. This eye-catching colt remains in Germany for 27,500 Euros. Granddam Columbia is the sister of five successful horses in the big class, including the 1.60 m-mare Quapitale du Lavoir under Morgan Bardot.
A total of 38 auctioned foals generated total sales of almost 600,000 Euros. On average, the foals cost over 15,700 Euros. In the future, 13 young Oldenburg stars will bring joy abroad. Specifically, they moved to the USA (4), Switzerland (3), Austria (1), Denmark (1), Hungary (1), Italy (1), Russia (1) and Sweden (1).
