Rocky Mountain Show Jumping will present the Royal West Mini-Series, three weeks of jumping tournaments on Oct. 22-25, Oct. 29-Nov. 1, and Nov. 5-8. The events offer classes from 0.80m to 1.40m and over $50,000 in prize money, and there will be a Costume Speed Derby on Halloween.
“We are excited to work closely with the Calgary Stampede to make these events happen,” said the tournaments organizer, John Anderson. “Throughout the pandemic exhibitor have been missing the opportunity to compete and further develop their horses and equestrian careers, we are pleased to be able to make that a reality for them.”
Jumper competitions will be held at the state-of-the-art Nutrein Western Event Centre at Calgary Stampede Park and are Alberta Equestrian Federation Wild Rose Sanctioned.
