Equine Canada and the Canadian Eventing Officials Committee are proud to offer two new educational opportunities for existing Eventing Officials and for members looking to further their education in Eventing and/or seeking new accreditation.
The courses offered are as follows:
2013 Education Course for Eventing Officials, Technical Delegates and Judges
This course will include classroom sessions, panel discussions, and practical sessions, and will also feature guest presenters including officials of the Alhambra Victory Tack Fall Event – Provincial Championships, September 21-22, 2013 in Red Deer, AB. This course is an integral component of the Equine Canada Eventing Officials Accreditation program, and may be used towards promotion or maintenance for Technical Delegates, Three Day Event Judges and Eventing Jumper Judges. The overall course director is Lynda Ramsay – EC Level 3, Three Day Event Judge.

Canadian Eventing Course Design Practical Building Clinic and Theory Course
This course is being offered over a four day period and is broken down into two components – The Eventing Course Design Theory Course and the Eventing Course Design Practical Building Clinic. This opportunity offers a two day in classroom course which will focus on cross country course design followed by two days of practical construction techniques plus frangible pin technology instruction. These are integral components of the Equine Canada Eventing Course Designer Accreditation program and successful completion of one or both components may be credited towards Equine Canada Eventing Course Designer accreditation. This clinic is being offered from September 17 – 20, in Jarratt, ON. The course facilitators are Jay Hambly, FEI (1) and Laurie Rowan, EC Level 21.
