Equestrian Canada (EC) is pleased to announce the launch of the Para-Dressage Recognition Year-End Awards, celebrating outstanding individuals and horses in the para-dressage community.
The Para-Dressage Recognition Year-End Awards will be presented annually to honour the achievements of our developing and high performance athletes, their coaches and horses, as well as our generous and committed horse owners and volunteers.
The following awards are included in the Para-Dressage Recognition Awards Program:
- Para-Dressage Development Athlete
- Para-Dressage Development Coach
- Para-Dressage High Performance Athlete
- Para-Dressage Horse of the Year
- Para-Dressage Owner of the Year
- Para-Dressage Volunteer of the Year
These awards are the first to be offered for para-dressage, and are designed to give the sport greater visibility and encourage participation of athletes, coaches and owners.
Nominations are currently being accepted for the 2018 Para-Dressage Recognition Year-End Awards. The deadline for nominations is March 9, 2018.
