The Ontario Equestrian Federation is pleased to announce the riders who will be representing the province at the upcoming Canadian Interprovincial Equestrian Championships, which take place from Oct. 3-5 in Blainville, QC.
Teams will be comprised of two junior and two senior riders representing Ontario in the disciplines of Jumping, Dressage and Reining. Riders must apply to be considered and are selected based on past competition results, as well as other eligibility requirements.
The following individuals have been short listed for the event:
Jumping
Juniors – Abbey Bibbings of London, ON. and Sam Walker of Nobleton, ON.
Seniors – Nikki Snazel of Uxbridge, ON. and Alexa Bennett of York, ON.
Reining
Junior – Amanda Peters of Port Perry, ON.
Seniors – Kathy Furtado of Pefferlaw, ON. and Elizabeth Barkey of Pefferlaw, ON.
Dressage
Juniors – Catherine Andrews of Niagara Falls, ON. and Vivian Vandewint of Metcalfe, ON.
Seniors – Jessie Palmer of Odessa, ON. and Tori Pittman of Toronto, ON.

The Canadian Interprovincial Equestrian Championships is a collaborative event between the national and provincial equestrian sport organizations and is a key event in the development of the next generation of national, international and world champions.
