Riding Narcotique de Muze II, Lamaze won Saturday afternoon’s featured event, a two-phase competition offering €20,000 in prize money as well as valuable world ranking points. Narcotique de Muze II is an 11-year-old Belgian Sport Horse mare owned by Ashland Stables Inc.

“It was the first class of the year indoors and I was happy, she jumped well,” said Lamaze, currently ranked the number two rider in the world. “At these shows in France, there are a lot of fast riders so the competition is always tough.”
