New Course Design Clinic for Coaches and Riders

The Ontario Equestrian Federation is introducing a new course design clinic on Oct. 10 & 11 geared not only towards course design candidates, but also coaches and athletes.

The new course design clinic will incorporate the basic principles of course design, but will also address the needs of coaches and athletes. The updated program will include hands-on training and demonstrations to build skills in:

• Walking courses
• Analyzing courses
• Analyzing a rider on course – identifying strengths and weaknesses
• Building courses and tests to train for fun and competition

Join Judge and Certified Course Designer Evie Frisque, Competition Coach Specialist and Certified Course Designer Sally Sainsbury and Certified FEI level 2/3 Course Designer Chris Brandt on Oct. 10 & 11 at the Forest Hill Training Centre in Caledon, ON. for this unique perspective behind the principles of course design in relation to the athlete and coach.
