Canadians continue to impress at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF), having earned multiple top-three placings during the festival’s third week, held Jan. 25-28, 2018 in Wellington, FL.

Megan Lane of Loretto, ON kicked off AGDF 3 on Jan. 25 with a third place finish in the FEI CDI 3* Grand Prix. She scored 71.783% with her 2016 Rio Olympic partner, Caravella (Contango x Riverman), the 17-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare she co-owns with her mother, Cathy Lane and sister, Kelsey Lane. The duo improved on their performance in the FEI Grand Prix Special, earning a 72.383% from the judges for second place on Jan. 27.

“Caravella is a horse I am honoured to ride down centreline with,” said Lane. “We have grown together and neither of us would be where we are today without one another. I am thrilled our results are progressing positively because I really feel the growth in our day-to-day training, too. To be in the top three with my little mare against some of the best competition on this side of the world is exciting, to say the very least!”
