“The Best Weekend All Year” featuring the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by MARS Equestrian™ and the $225,000 Kentucky CSI3* Invitational Grand Prix presented by Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, is set to begin at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, April 28-May 1. Both events will feature elite horses and riders from across the US and around the world, many of which competed at last year’s Tokyo Olympic Games and will be competing at the 2022 FEI World Championships later this summer.
LRK3DE, featuring $375,000 in prize money. is one of only seven annual five-star three-day events in the world, along with Badminton and Burghley in England; Luhmühlen in Germany; Pau in France; Adelaide in Australia; and the Maryland 5 Star in the USA. LRK3DE is the longest-running five-star event in the Americas and also serves as the Land Rover/USEF CCI-5*-L Eventing National Championship for US athletes. Two exciting divisions have attracted a large number of entries ‒ the CCI5*-L will see 50 riders ride down centreline to start the dressage phase, while the CCI4*-S boasts 48 entries.
