The World Equine Expo™ will be held September 11-23, 2018 alongside the FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2018 (WEG) at Tryon International Equestrian Center and Laura Kelland-May will be there as part of the Ask the Trainers Panel. “I am so excited to be a part of this key panel,”said Kelland-May. The line up of judges and trainers will answer audience questions at the Coca-Cola® Stage, a key focal point of the Vendor Village at the World Equine Expo™.
The Ask the Trainers Panel will feature experts in the equine industry and Kelland-May said “We will have to be on our toes because the audience can ask us questions about training their horses or about being a professional in
the horse business. It won’t be like a rehearsed interview!”
The Panel, made up of Laura Kelland-May (EC “S” and USEF “R” Hu/Ju/Eq Judge), Jodi Jones Lees (USEF “S” Dressage Judge), Paddy Downing-Nyegard (“R” USEF Hunter/Jumper/Equitation) , Barbro Ask-Upmark (Education Manager and Trainer Tryon International Equestrian Center) and will be moderated by Randi Thompson (Horse and Rider Awareness, Expert Witness/Consultant).
She continued, “There will be so much to do and see. The different disciplines of the WEG, and not to mention the Vendor Village, educational programming and Equus Film Festival. Being a part of it, presenting, and being able to make a difference to the equestrians there is a huge motivating factor for what I do.” She goes on to say, “The panel will provide an excellent way for the people attending the WEG to get answers to some of their burning questions.”
