Rolex has today launched a new initiative in Jumping – the Rolex One to Watch – which identifies the rider that has made the biggest jump within or into the Top 250 of the Rolex Rankings the previous month.

As a result of some excellent performances during January 2011, the first Rolex One to Watch is Spanish rider, Manuel Añon, who is based in Madrid. The 18-year-old jumped from number 260 to 207 – a move up the Rolex Rankings of 53 places.

Individual Junior European Champion in 2008, Manuel Añon helped Spain to a Gold medal at the 2009 Young Rider European Championships where he also took an individual bronze medal riding L’Oreal D’Utah. Manuel’s rise up the Rolex Rankings looks set to continue as he rode superbly to finish in fifth place at the Vigo leg of the Rolex FEI World Cup™ Jumping series last weekend.
