Lansdowne, ridden by Conor Swail, has been named Horse of the Year in Ireland for 2013.
The pair had excellent results in Wellington and Spruce Meadows, and were members of the Irish team at the European Championships in Herning.
The 10-year-old KWPN stallion (Guidam x Wolfgang) is owned by Canada’s Susan and Ariel Grange.
In addition, Swail was named as the International Rider of the Year.
