Palgrave, Ontario – The third event in the 2008 Canadian Young Horse Development Series took place during the Summer Classic horse show held June 11-15 at the Caledon Equestrian Park in Palgrave, ON.

In the Seven and Eight-Year-Old Division, it was the Canadian-bred entry of Executive Privilege 3E that emerged victorious for owner KingRidge Stables of King City, ON. Piloted by Canadian Equestrian Team veteran Hugh Graham, Executive Privilege 3E was one of eight entries to successfully negotiate the first round course and advance to the jump-off where he was again clear in the fastest time, 42.10 seconds. A registered Canadian Sport Horse, the eight-year-old Executive Privilege 3E is by the KingRidge stallion, Class Action, out of Galaxy 3E by Aerobic Z.

With a jump-off time of 44.87 seconds, Sacramento Van’t Paradijs was the runner-up under Chris Sorensen. Owned by WEE Enterprises, Sacramento Van’t Paradijs is registered with the Anglo European studbook. His sire is the registered Anglo European stallion, Surreilist Van’t Paradys, while his dam, Uricke Vant Paradys, is by the Holsteiner sire, Landetto.
