The second edition of the Jumping Talent Sale, on the eve of Jumping Amsterdam on Wednesday, January 27th at the RAI Amsterdam, can count on great interest from buyers from home and abroad.” Several horses that were sold last year in the Jumping Talent Sale are currently performing great, which is the best promotion you can have as an auction,” says Wim Schröder. He is, together with his brother Ben, Jeroen Dubbeldam and Mario Everse the selection committee of the elite auction of young show jumping horses.

After a careful selection, only the best jumpers will be shown in the RAI Amsterdam. Professional trainers and riders have ensured that these horses are prepared for an international career. The initiators have an impressive track record as selectors of top horses. They discovered the famous chestnut stallion Glock’s London N.O.P., the horse that won individual and team silver at the Olympics in London.
During the first edition of the Jumping Talent Sale in 2015, 21 jumpers were sold with an average yield of over €116.000, – and a total of over to €2.4 million.
A number of these horses are competing on international level, Dakota (Carolus II x Padinus) with Jenny Johansson achieved impressive results in several Youngster-competition. Elpee (Toulon x Indoctro) is currently one of the best young jumper horses in Sweden, ridden by Victoria Almgren and Daddy Cool (Douglas x Radisson) with Russia’s Maria Madenova competes successfully at 1.40m level.

“We have managed to put together a fine collection again this year and there is already a lot of interest from buyers from all over Europe and even America”, says Wim Schröder. ” We get a lot of calls from potential buyers who come to the Netherlands to try the auction horses. We have a selection of suitable horses for youth and the better amateur riders, but also for professional riders who have high sports standards.”
