Canadian team eventer Jessica Phoenix celebrated her Canada Day weekend by riding 10 horses and claiming multiple wins at the Dreamcrest Horse Trials in Port Perry, Ontario June 29 and 30.
Phoenix won the CIC** with the small but mighty A Little Romance, an eight-year-old Trakehner mare by A Fine Romance owned by Anita and Don Leschied. She also took second place in the CIC* with her own Exultation, a Thoroughbred gelding, and third with Maserati One, an Irish sport horse owned by the Leschieds.
She took first and second places in Open Pre Training with two Trakehners owned by Galten Farms, Godiva GS and Humble GS, and placed first in Open Entry with Emmy, a Thoroughbred mare owned by Erin Matte.
In second place in the two-star was Anita Nemtin-Gilmour and Acrobat and in third, Callie Evans with Glendening Avis.
Winner of the one star was Colleen Loach and Qorry Blue D’Argouges.
