Hong Kong – Eric Lamaze and Hickstead just won Individual gold for Canada in show jumping. This is Canada’s first Individual Olympic medal since 1976, first Individual gold.
With only two clear efforts in round B, Lamaze and Hickstead and Rolf-Goran Bengtsson and Ninja of Sweden went into the first Individual gold medal jump-off in 24 years.
First to go, Bengtsson had one rail, leaving the field open for Lamaze, who only needed to go clear for the win – and that he did! Stay tuned for more!
