A new housing development just minutes away from the Pépinière and St-Lazare horse show grounds in Quebec is underway. Forty-two homes, zoned for equestrian use, will make up Domaine des Forestiers as a nod to the rich equestrian history of St-Lazare.
Located on the south side of Ste-Angelique Road, east of Côte St-Charles, each lot will be at least 80,000 square feet. The neighbourhood will also include two parks, as well as riding and hiking trails, which will be open to the public.
St-Lazare and the surrounding area still has one of the largest equine populations in Quebec, with more than 5,000 horses and ponies.
