Ashley Holzer of Toronto, ON rode Breaking Dawn to first place in the Grand Prix test at CDI3* Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, presented by Dominion Regalia, November 9, 2011.

With Breaking Dawn, formerly known as Ultiems Flemming, a bay 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding sired by Akribori and co-owned by Holzer and P.J. Rizvi, Holzer scored 69.319% to capture first place in the Grand Prix test. The pair’s test was highlighted with excellent trot half-passes, fluid transitions into passage and very strong piaffes and passage tours.

“It was Breaking Dawn’s first really big competition,” said Holzer. “This horse just never disappoints. He is a class act, and he always goes in the ring and tries his best.”
