The first Champions have been crowned at the 39th annual HITS Ocala Winter Circuit. With nearly $2 Million in prize money added this circuit, riders were at the ‘Top of Their Game’ to get in on the action.
Taking home the first blue ribbon in featured competition in the Grand Prix Stadium this week was Jenni McAllister for her ride aboard BATIDA PJ in the $5,000 Open Welcome. McAllister clinched the win in a time of 46.535 in Wednesday’s class.

It was a one-two finish for Kevin Mealiff in the $10,000 HITS Open Prix on Thursday. Mealiff took top honors aboard IDYLLE VAN DE EIKHOEVE in a time of 40.604.

3rd Place: Magness & INTENZ VAN HD [42.216]
A field of 43 joined the Grand Prix Stadium at HITS Ocala for the $25,000 SmartPak Grand Prix on Friday afternoon. Of the six that jumped clear, Rowan Willis & CALISTO 26 topped the field in a fault-free jump-off time of 36.012.

Klimas moved up in the standings from her third place finish on Wednesday to take home the blue ribbon in the $10,000 1.40m Jumper Classic on Saturday aboard CELTIC LADY M2S in a time of 40.004.

Sunday’s Grand Prix kicked-off with double the prize money for a total of $100,000 awarded in the feature class at the Ocala January Festival. Hunter Holloway & LUCKY STRIKE were the first to return for the jump-off and bested the field in a time of 43.271 to take home a check for $30,000 and the blue ribbon.

Hunters were featured in the Stadium on Saturday afternoon in the Devoucoux and Platinum Performance Hunter Prix, which are qualifiers for the Diamond Mills Hunter Prix Final and Platinum Performance Hunter Prix Finals at the HITS Championship in Saugerties, New York.
The Devoucoux Hunter Prix has doubled in prize money this year to award $10,000 each week. Fenney clinched the win aboard MTM PERSONAL ASSISTANT with scores of 82 and 87, taking the blue ribbon by half of a point with a total score of 169.

Paige Jones took home top honors in the $1,500 Platinum Performance Hunter Prix for her ride aboard CHARLIE BROWN. Jones received scores of 75 and 79.5 for a cumulative score of 154.5 and the blue ribbon.
