After two nights of the breeding stock auction, Alan Waldman and Mario Everse are certain: is doing well in the online auction world. The majority of the foals, broodmares and embryos were sold, especially to other countries. The next auction is already planned: Showjumping horses ages three and older from August 29 to September 1.

Mario Everse with the broodmare Lester van ’t Roosakker (Zandor Z), granddaughter of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Electra van ’t Roosakker, who was sold for 29,000 euro to a professional breeder from the Netherlands.

“Yes, you can certainly say that we can be pleased with the breeding stock auctions. We received many positive reactions and did reasonably good business,” says a content Mario Everse. On Monday night the broodmare Lester van ’t Roosakker (by Zandor Z) was the most expensive, going for 29,000 euros; on Tuesday night two fillies were sold to Belgium for 28,000 euros: Hermosa Z (Hardrock Z x Cicero Z van Paemel) and Belle Z (Big Star x Kashmir Van Schuttershof).

The colt Billy Waldstar (Big Star x Zirocco Blue VDL) will go to Mexico for 14,000 euro. The embryo by Chacco Blue out of the full sister to Etoulon VDL was knocked down for an American buyer for 15,000 euro. Several broodmares were sold for prices ranging between 9,000 and 11,000 euro. Also on Tuesday, buyers from countries such as the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Bahrain, Hungary, Great Britain and Poland were successful.

“We are looking forward to the next auction, which will include horses from Alan Waldman and me, but also from third parties. They can be entered up to 9 August. On 11 and 12 August we will have our photograph/video days. We can already tell you now that it will be a very diverse assortment of horses. There will be candidates for every taste,” he reveals.
