When the first edition of the Borculo JST Foal Auction was introduced earlier this year, it was promised that a special collection of exclusively bred jumper foals would be auctioned at this new auction concept. In the hands of the Elite Foal Auction Borculo, on June 1, 2018, six top genetically high-valued, athletic foals will come under the hammer during CSI3* Jumping Schröder Tubbergen (JST). As of today, this special collection can be found on the Foal Auction Borculo website.

All six foals descend from leading sires and dam lines that are infused with sport genes. The word ‘exclusive’ applies directly to the colts of Chacco Blue and Cumano. These two stallions will hardly give offspring anymore while both of them are recognised worldwide as top-class progenitors. Two fillies are also part of our collection. Both their sires performed convincingly at the 2016 Rio Olympics, with the golden Big Star in front and in his wake the phenomenal multiple Grand Prix winner Quabri de l’Isle. Two colts from the highly regarded Diamant de Semilly and Comme Il Faut complete our collection, which on father’s side alone is already fantastic.

Dams and dam lines
Nevertheless the dams and dam lines of our foals make the difference and the picture perfect bottom line. In the pedigree of all of these dams we see several generations filled with internationally qualified show jumpers. A brief look at these top broodmares shows that we have two mothers that each have produced several international jumpers, and one even three 1.60m qualified horses. The other four, mostly young mothers, are in their turn a half-sister or even more closely related to at least three international jumpers and/or approved stallions, with one mare being the three-quarters sister to Sterrehof’s Calimero.
