Attention Sport Licence Holder:

As part of the Competitions Structural Alignment project, Equestrian Canada (EC) is collaborating with the University of Guelph on a research project to identify the cost of participating in sport. The findings from this research will provide important data and support EC with our review of the competition system to help us better align the pathway from pony to podium. Your participation is strongly encouraged and, by doing so, you have the chance to win a fantastic prize!

Please read the below from Norm O’Reilly and Michael Alcorn at the University of Guelph to learn more.

As part of a graduate research project at the University of Guelph, the survey below is designed to identify the many costs associated with sport participation and will help provide information to both sport organizations and their members about the expenses of participation. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Use the link below to complete the survey on the cost to participate in organized sport for a chance to win BeatsX earphones (chances of winning will be determinant on the total number of survey respondants)! If you have any questions, please contact Norm O’Reilly (principle investigator; noreilly@uoguelph.ca) or Michael Alcorn (student researcher; alcornm@uoguelph.ca).
