Equestrian Canada (EC) would like to remind the equestrian community that the nomination deadline for the 2018 National Coaching Awards is approaching fast on Feb. 28, 2018.
About the National Coaching Awards
The EC National Coaching Awards recognize coaches and instructors from all disciplines and contexts who exemplify the coaching and teaching practices of the National Coaching Certification Program.
The Canadian equestrian community is encouraged to submit nominees to their respective Provincial/Territorial Sport Organization (PTSO), outlining the coach’s contribution to equestrian sport, whether their students are active in competitive sport or recreation.
Nominations are welcomed for the following awards:
- Coach Developer of the Year
- Community Coach of the Year
- Competitive Coach of the Year

Nominations must be submitted directly to PTSOs by Feb. 28, 2018.
