Ottawa, Ontario — Canadian rider Shannon Dueck, a current resident of Loxahatchee, FL, USA earned top placings at the CDI 3* Centerline Events at HITS on the Hudson, held August 17-19 in Saugerties, NY, USA.
Riding Evan Lindsay’s 10-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding Control (x Comeback II), Dueck kicked off the competition with a strong win in the Euro American Prix St Georges, scoring 65.333%.
“I love riding Control in the show ring,†said Dueck, a seasoned international competitor for Canada who took home the Individual Silver Medal at the 1999 Pan American Games, and was the highest placed Canadian at the 2002 World Equestrian Games. “He is so consistent and really enjoys being in front of the judges.â€
