Diana Dillingham, 62, a well-respected Equestrian Canada (EC) Senior Dressage Steward and FEI Steward, passed away suddenly on April 23, 2017, at her home in L’Île-Perrôt, QC.

Diana, a keen equestrian and animal lover from birth, was part of the team of officials at the Pan American Games in Palgrave, ON, in 2015. The daughter of Franklin and Pamela (née Kemp) Dillingham, Diana was not the only notable horsewoman in the family; her aunt, Barbara Kemp, designed the Bromont three-day event course for the 1976 Olympics, and her sister, Desi Dillingham MBE, was the chairman of British Dressage and special advisor to Dressage Canada. Diana also worked in team roles in various locations with the CIBC.

A visitation will be held at Belvedere Funeral Complex in Senneville, QC (mountroyalcem.com) on April 27 & 28th, immediately followed by a celebration of life in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to an animal-focused charity of your choice.

Horse Sport expresses the sincerest sympathy to Diana’s family, co-workers, and friends.
