Definite entries for the three disciplines of Jumping, Driving, and Vaulting, which take place over the second week of competition at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy, were finalised today.

As with the disciplines taking place over the first week of the Games, the number of entries remains very high and brings the total of athletes and horses, who will start in the Games, to 969 and 1080 respectively. The number of nations is 74, an all-time high and a 25% increase compared to the previous record established at the FEI World Equestrian Games™ in Aachen (GER) in 2006 where equestrians from 59 countries had competed.

With 54 nations, Jumping is the discipline, which has attracted the highest participation overall, an absolute record since the creation of the Games in 1990.
