Ottawa, Ontario — Darrin Dlin is still holding his lead in the Canadian League World Cup standings following the third event of the Canadian season, the $75,000 World Cup Qualifier held September 2 at the CSI-W Canadian Country Classic in Halton Hills, ON.

Dlin, a native of Spruce Grove, AB, who now resides in Wellington, FL, has earned a total of 39 World Cup points after winning the first two legs of the series.  He first earned 19 points for winning the $70,000 Grand Prix Jumping du Quebec World Cup Qualifier on July 8 at the CSI-W Blainville Jumping International in Quebec and added 20 points for his victory in the $100,000 Caledon Equestrian Park World Cup Qualifier at the CSI-W Summer Festival held August 5 in Palgrave, ON.  His partner for both wins was Odyssey Venture Inc.’s Catwalk, a 10-year-old Canadian-bred Oldenburg mare sired by the late Rio Grande.

Keean White of Cambridge, ON, shot up the standings into second place after taking third place in Halton Hills for 20 points riding Angelstone Farms’ nine-year-old Belgian Warmblood mare, Vienna Rouge.  White also picked up an additional eight points for his 11th place finish at the CSI-W Summer Festival, also aboard Vienna Rouge, for a current points total of 28.
