Equestrian Canada (EC) would like to confirm an update to the Canadian Dressage Team lineup set to compete in the CDIO 3* Stillpoint Farm Nations Cup, taking place March 21-25, 2017 at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) in Wellington, FL.
Due to the withdrawal of All In, the entry of Brittany Beaulieu of Ottawa, ON, the reserve combination of Jill Irving from Moncton, NB and Degas 12, owned by Irving and Windhaven Farm, have been called up to represent Canada in the CDIO 3* Nations Cup.
Unfortunately, All In, owned by Beaulieu, her husband, Marc-Andre and her father, Craig Fraser, was withdrawn due to allergies. EC sends best wishes for All In’s speedy recovery to the Beaulieu and Fraser families.
The full, updated Canadian Dressage Team representing Canada in the CDIO 3* Nations Cup is as follows:
Rider / Hometown / Horse / Owner
Jill Irving / Moncton, NB / Degas 12 / Jill Irving & Windhaven Farm
Jaimey Irwin / Stouffville, ON / Donegal V / Team Irwin Supporters Group
Tina Irwin / Stouffville, ON / Laurencio / Tina & Jaimey Irwin
Megan Lane / Loretto, ON / Caravella / Megan, Cathy & Kelsey Lane
Canada has traditionally excelled in this event, bringing home team silver in 2016, and fielding two teams in 2015 to claim silver and bronze. Canadians have also picked up four individual medals since 2013, including bronze for Belinda Trussell in 2016 and gold for Christilot Boylen in 2013.
