The Canadian Eventing Committee (CEC) is pleased to announce the results of the 2010 elections for Committee members.

For the position of Chair, two candidates were nominated, and an election was held electronically using the system created for the annual Equine Canada Board of Directors election for the Director-at-Large. The successful candidate was Peggy Hambly, who was elected to serve a third term.

The CEC welcomes new committee member Martha Griggs of Kettleby, ON, as chair of the Athlete Development Committee. Griggs is a former Olympic and national team member and NCCP Level 3 Eventing coach as well as a member of the task force developing the new NCCP High Performance 1 Coaching certification program for eventing. 

The CEC acknowledges, with thanks, the two candidates nominated for the position of Chair of the CEC as well as Jo Young and Pam Macintosh for agreeing to serve another term on the committee.

The CEC expresses sincere gratitude to outgoing committee member Debbie Dorosh (Athlete Development Committee) for her years of voluntary service and commitment to the eventing program.
