The Town of Caledon Parks and Recreation Department along with its partners the TORONTO 2015 Pan American/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee (TO2015), The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and Equestrian Management Group are pleased to announce that a contractor team has been selected for the next phase of construction at the Caledon Equestrian Park.

Led by Caledon’s own Sierra Excavation, the next phase will see the construction of the Pavilion Building, Judges’ tower and septic system. Construction began January 27, 2014 with the demolition of the existing Pavilion. The new buildings are scheduled to be in use for the 2014 Horse Show season.

“This is obviously a hugely important project for the Town of Caledon,” said Mayor Marolyn Morrison, “and to be able to award it to a local team of such outstanding quality is a tremendous benefit for Caledon. I’m so proud that we have local people working to build this legacy project.”
